Warming up and warming down is really important when playing any instrument, sports people also do this before training or a performance, why you might ask!
Our tendons or muscles need loosening up before doing a physical activity, as this can help prevent a repetitive strain injury, such has tendonitis or carpal tunnel syndrome.
This can be painful and require surgery of not seen to by a professional.
So to help prevent this, warming up is a good idea, as this could prevent you from playing for a while until surgery or treatment is complete.
Below are a couple of simple warm up exercises for you to try, don’t Play them fast, as these are just to help warm up.
